SHOOTSAC WARRANTY

The Shootsac Lens Bag,  HipSlip Laptop Sleeve, and Tote & Shoot Camera Bag are covered under a general manufacturer's warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers defects encountered in manufacturing and workmanship only. If one of our products fails during the warranty period due to defect in materials or workmanship, we will gladly replace or repair the product if returned to our repair center, postage paid, with original proof of purchase. Our warranty covers Shootsac products only.

Our warranty does not cover damages that result from physical abuse/mishandling of Shootsac products, accident, negligence, if the product is altered or modified by the purchaser in any way, or animal attack (I'm not kidding -- the lawyers told us to include this). It does not cover normal wear and tear or damages such as abrasion, creases, scratches, snags, pilling, or fading. The warranty does not cover the natural breakdown of materials that may occur after extended use of the product. Most importantly, however, the warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages to equipment such as damage to, or loss of, the contents of the bag; loss of use; loss of time; or similar expenses.

The warranty does not apply to any non-Shootsac products. The warranty excludes without limitation any scratching or surface damage to any non-Shootsac products. This warranty applies only to the normal use of Shootsac products, normal wear and tear excepted, in accordance with written use instructions, if any, provided with Shootsac products (either in writing or through a hyperlink to such instructions). All products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Please contact us if you have any questions at support@shootsac.com.

SHOOTSAC BAG PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Shootsac is designed specifically to support active, demanding shooters. People who want to use the RIGHT lens for the RIGHT shot. And people who care about their equipment.

The bag is made of the finest wetsuit grade neoprene available, providing the ultimate in comfort and protection for your lenses. The Shootsac is lightweight, weighing just 7oz., and built to conform to your body and move with you. Unlike traditional camera bags and gear vests, the Shootsac provides quick and easy access to an extra camera body (comparable to the size of a 5D) without battery grip; 3-6 lenses; and other accessories. The Shootsac is not designed to replace your camera bag or hold your camera with a lens attached. It is, however, meant to make you more mobile and less confined by your rolling bag.

Being able to pull the lens out with one hand was a big consideration in the design of this product. While the 6 neoprene pockets are meant to help you hold your shooting necessities at the ready while you work, we recommend filling the front three pockets with the lenses you need, and using the back 3 pockets (which include safety snaps) for things like extra cards, batteries, flashes, cell phone, business cards, bottled water, etc. The front pockets have hidden elastic inserts that allow them to stretch to accommodate a wide variety of lens shapes, lengths and widths with matching hood. Using the front 3 pockets for your small lenses will ensure maximum accessibility and comfort while you shoot. Because of its height and weight, do not place the 70-200 lens in the front center pocket of the bag. The absolute best spot for it is in the back rear pocket, up against the small of your back. For quick access to this lens, consider losing the lens in the front pocket, opposite side of where the 70-200 should be carried, and leave it open or use it for small items. This gives you plenty of room to position the 70-200 in the back rear snap pocket behind the flap. This placement allows the cover to lie flat and also ensures that that lens is snug against your back and comfortable while you are working.

The shoulder strap is extra long and can be adjusted to fit the tallest, widest and smallest of body types. Fitting it snuggly across your back, or on your hip like a messenger bag, gives the Shootsac the support it needs to hug your gear and also hug your body. At last, all of you two body shooters can say goodbye to that 2nd camera body and lens banging around behind your back while you shoot.

The bag will accommodate the major Canon and Nikon lenses and their lens hoods, as well as most current flashes; the Quantum 2x2 battery pack; a back-up camera body (without the battery grip or lens attached); and most importantly the 70-200—so there is no need to ever again have a heart attack because you've left that lens on the floor somewhere in the other room.

The bag comes with an interchangeable neoprene cover, which does two things. For those fast paced lens changing shooters, the cover keeps the glass covered. The cover also does a great job of camouflaging the tell-tale bumps and bulges of a bag full of camera gear. Once the action gets hot and heavy, the cover can be folded back against the photographer's body so that the 3 lens pockets are easily accessible. Or, if you hate the idea of ANYTHING getting in the way, the cover is completely removable. This causes the bag to resemble a tool belt.

CARRYING AND PROTECTING YOUR GLASS

When returning your lenses to the Shootsac pockets, make sure they are pushed all the way inside and down into the pocket. Doing so will enable the neoprene to act as a glove, conforming to the exact shape of your glass, thus keeping your lenses safe and at the ready.

GUYS LOVE THEIR SAC

Since introducing Shootsac, we've received a lot of e-mail from guys wondering what other guys – guys who own one of these bad boys – think of the bag. True – women really dig it – but guys love it too for its design, durability, functionality, “like-a-glove” comfort, and the fact that it doesn't look like a traditional camera bag. Below are just a few quotes from guys who own a shootsac and have tested it in the field.

David J: I can't even begin to tell you all how much I love it. This was the greatest addition (substitution) to my gear bag in years. I'm not joking - get one!

David Hessemer: Hey Jess, still loving my Shootsac! Did you see that DJ has a video up about how the Shootsac brought back his creativity! I was in the process of making a video here on the beach that says the same when I saw his. Will let you know when it is done.

Jesh de Rox: I'm pretty much one of the most manly men ever - so I'm not too keen on the carrying of bags and such!!! But I picked up a Shootsac when I was in Seattle, and it's since become a welcome companion on my weddings. It's light weight and versatility really work well with my fastpaced shooting style : ) Check one out when you get a chance.

Nathan Holritz: These bags are really great y'all!

Jim Khan: When I first saw the bag online I thought it would be just form but no function. I'm really hard on my gear, so I need something that will withstand the outdoor shooting I do. This thing is not only durable, but very comfortable. The craftsmanship is great.

David Baxter: Everyone should buy one. Not just because I won't be sharing mine, but because they come equipped with their own supply of awesome... I was the first to get my shootsac at wppi last march. It was like waiting in line to get into the heart of U2 concert, just look at my face (http://www.sdohana.com/blog/) and you'll know. :) I've used it more times than I can count since I've gotten it but I wanted to wait before I gave it my stamp of approval. It's awesome! It fits everything I need including my 70-200 which is amazing, and it's easily accessible without getting in my way. Jessica really did make a camera bag that is better...faster...stronger.

David McClain: I shot my sister's weddinglast weekend in Northern Michigan and have a couple shots of me with my ShootSac. In fact, the week before the wedding I shipped my ShootSac to an old friend to try. He is the university photographer with whom I worked in college and he fell in love with the ShootSac immediately. He kept trying to steal it, but all he ended up with were some shots of me wearing it. The day he got back from the wedding he ordered one of his own to carry his gear around campus.

Dustin Francis: I had my first shoot with my SHOOTSAC and naturally like the rest of us... I LOVE IT! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Frank Beamer: I love this bag for its functionality and great looks. It gets attention everywhere I go. It doesn't look like a regular camera bag, which is why I love it.

Michael Corsentino: I love, love, love my Shootsac. It's revolutionized the way I shoot and made carrying my gear easy and fun.

Lance Wright: This bag is incredible. I was a little skeptical at first, but once you put it on, it makes total sense. It fits your body like a glove, and all your gear is at your fingertips.

Ted Sandle: Unbelieveable. The bag is so lightweight and fits my body so well, it's easy to forget you're wearing it.

PRODUCT CARE

Your Shootsac Lens Bag is designed to be stored flat on top of your actual equipment in whatever camera case you use to transport your gear. Neoprene is prone to deep creases and wrinkles which can become permanent parts of the fabric. So while you certainly CAN roll it, drop it, throw it or fold it, why would you want to be so mean to something that's being so nice to you and your gear?

TIP: If stored folded for periods of time wrinkles may appear. Simply fill your Shootsac with newspaper and leave for 24-36 hours. We haven't tried it, but that's what the wetsuit guys told us to tell you.

Cleaning: Wipe clean using a damp cloth. Your Shootsac is best spot cleaned or, worst case scenario, washed by hand in warm soapy water. Do not bleach, do not iron. Drip dry.

For example: If you wore your Shootsac during your vendor meal, and now your Shootsac is wearing your vendor meal, spray a water-based cleaner onto a cloth and wipe bag first -- before resorting to really soaking it.

Play nice and enjoy!

Contact us at support@shootsac.com if you have any questions. We're happy to help.

Your Tote & Shoot Camera Bag can be spot cleaned with soap and water. If needed, you can clean it with a diluted bleach solution.
