The Story of the Shootsac Shoulder Pad

The Shootsac accessory item has been TOPS on everyone's wish list for months now. We looked high and low for a Shoulder Pad that actually did the job and... looked good doing it. Turns out that THIS was a very tall order. WE wanted a sleek shoulder pad that was comfortable for narrow shoulders as well as broad ones. We wanted a shoulder pad that would stay put when you pull the Shootsac around to the front to retrieve a lens or push it behind your back for an active shooting session. We wanted increased comfort without loads of bulk. This was a classic example of function dictating style. Eventually we realized that we weren't going to find what we wanted... so we designed our very own to perfectly complement your SHOOTSAC LENS BAG. I sent Jessica Claire the first functional prototype. She gave it rave reviews and started getting us in trouble with Shootsac owners almost immediately by posting about it on her blog.

Great Product without a Doubt I have been using the Shootsac since 2013 almost every weekend for events. The bag has stood the test of time and when this one breaks I will buy a new one. It conforms to your body with its soft material and does not bother all day. Make sure to get the shoulder strap, it really helps to distribute the weight on your shoulder and allows you to carry it all day and night long without fatigue. I don’t know what I would do without the Shootsac. Thank you guys for making such an incredible product!!

Why wouldn't you buy it? If you are going to buy the bag, you might as well buy the strap. I don't think the bag would be comfortable for long amounts of time without it. The strap isn't expensive and slips right on. Mine stays in place and works really well for long time usage.

Shoulder pad sooo comfortable This shoulder pad is so soft and comfortable. It adds the extra padding to my shootsac strap and also has a nice grip against my neck/shoulder so there is no slip. I highly recommend this shoulder pad!

Comfortable and a must! This shoulder pad is a must for the shootsac lensbag. It's very comfortable. I just returned from a trip to the Amazon where this lensbag was on my shoulder most of the time and without the shoulder pad I would not have been able to wear the bag the many hours that I did. Great bag but the shoulder pad is a must!

Shootsac Shoulder Pad Very nice edition to the shootsac bag...just wonder why it is not included as an original equipment item instead of a separate order. Should be a welcome edition when carrying a 70-200 2.8 and 24-70 2.8 on a long day. Really like my Shootsac...

Shoulder Pad is a must have! I tried the Shootsac first without the Shoulder Pad and it was really ok but the bag moved a little bit too much. With the Shoulder Pad that's no problem at all any more.
